Developer and Editor of Online Journal.  BS plus 2-5 years experience editor/writer, PHD, or MS/MA in any science, mathematics, or engineering field required. Develop your own position and income with our company. Very unique opportunity for highly motivated and ambitious 21st Century technology-oriented editor. Develop and maintain all aspects of electronic journal website and journal. The editor will be responsible for guiding the development of the electronic journal and then will serve as the managing editor of the journal. Main job functions following establishment of journal: screening manuscripts, selecting reviewers, and controlling review process up through the publication of papers. The editor will also design and layout the journal issues. Editor will work independently at home and will communicate electronically and by phone with authors and reviewers, and for marketing purposes. 

Successful candidates will have general knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, be able to communicate well in both speech and technical writing and will be comfortable with and willing to interact with company, university and school personnel. This is not a 9-5 job! Candidates must be able to produce products to meet strict publication deadlines. The ability to convincingly market a concept and product will be essential for building a customer base. In addition to the above mentioned abilities and skills, the highly qualified candidate will be well-versed in the use of 21st Century technology. Knowledge of and/or experience with PKP open access journals and OJS software will be a major plus, but not a madatory entry skill. Website developing/management experience is also an asset.

• Science/STEM Education Specialist. PHD or MS/MA in any science/STEM field required. The qualified candidate will conduct professional development seminars and workshops to support implementation of our science education programs in schools. This position is ideal for an active research scientist interested in pursuing a career change or a retired scientist or science educator. This position will involve travel throughout the 50 states and attendance at state and national science education conventions. The ideal candidate will have already demonstrated excellence in both teaching and conducting scientific research and possess superior speaking and writing abilities. While this position requires the candidate to already possess a multitude of skills and experience as well as expertise in scientific inquiry, the successful candidate will also be willing to be trained in our company's science education program and techniques.

• Office Manager/Secretary. At least a BA or AS degree required. We are looking for a qualified candidate to support our science education efforts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent computer skills with ability to use MS Word, Pagemaker, Powerpoint, and Excel (or the willingness and motivation to learn these programs); exceptional organization and communication skills; office and secretarial experience; and the desire to grow with a young company.
